BiographyB.A. Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, North Carolina Ms. Debra L. L. Brown, a lecturer in the Department of Social Work, has sixteen plus years of education experience. Her post-masters experience includes teaching at Central Texas College, Pope Air Force Base, NC, Fayetteville State University, Fort Bragg-Pope Air Force Base, NC, and Fayetteville State University-Main Campus, Fayetteville, NC as an adjunct lecturer. She also served in a fulltime appointment as the Coordinator of Field Education and Assistant Professor in the Social Work Department at Campbell University, Buies Creek, NC. Prior to teaching full time, Ms. Brown worked as a child protective service social worker as well as a middle school drop-out prevention coordinator and social worker. While at the middle school, she initiated the “school-within-a-school” program for students at-risk of being transferred to an alternative school due to behavioral challenges. |
